While effective communications with your patrons is always important, it becomes even more critical during an emergency. In today’s environment, the public, your patrons, Board and funders expect transparency and responsiveness.  To protect your reputation in an emergency, ensure key publics are well-informed, and mitigate mis- and dis-information, it is vital to plan ahead. Alyson and Amy will draw on decades of experience working a variety of communications and PR roles including the Prince George Public Library as they share lessons from times of crisis. Participants will receive a fillable template that will make it easy for even a small team to create its own basic crisis communications plan.
